Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Framing Estimator & Personal Assistant to support our construction operations for U.S.-based projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate material take-offs, ordering and coordinating framing materials, handling billing and collections, maintaining bookkeeping records, and providing administrative support to the project management team. This role requires collaboration with project managers and foremen to ensure estimates align with project requirements, analyzing project plans to identify cost savings, and tracking project budgets, labor costs, and material usage. The Framing Estimator will also assist with ongoing administrative tasks as needed to support smooth operations. The successful candidate will have strong English communication skills, a clear understanding of construction and framing, and previous experience in frame estimation or related roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, with experience in the framing industry for US-based clients, and knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred. This position demands a highly organized, reliable, and service-oriented professional capable of engaging effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review material take-offs to ensure accurate project estimates.
- Order and coordinate delivery of framing materials to meet project schedules.
- Handle billing and collections for projects in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain bookkeeping records related to project costs, expenses, and invoices.
- Assist with administrative tasks and provide support to the project management team as needed.
- Perform other ongoing administrative tasks as needed to support operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost savings or material efficiencies.
- Track and report on project budgets, labor costs, and material usage for ongoing projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong phone and clear communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, providers, and potential clients.
- Clear understanding of construction and framing.
- Previous experience as a Framing Estimator, for U.S-based clients.
- Previous experience in account management, executive support, medical office coordination, or customer relationship roles preferred.
- Professional writing ability and email etiquette.
- Detail-oriented, organized and service-oriented.
- Highly responsible, reliable and proactive.
- Knowledge of any systems used for framing. Training will be provided.
- Preferred: basic QuickBooks knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Microsoft Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision.
- Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
