The Role: Social Media Strategist
This role focuses on building and delivering data-driven social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business objectives. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers, content creators, and marketers to craft campaigns that are creative, effective, and culturally relevant across platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media strategy or a related role

Develop and implement platform-specific strategies aligned to campaign goals

Conduct in-depth audience, industry, and competitor research to inform decisions

Use social media management tools to schedule, monitor, and optimise content

Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, conversions) and translate data into insights

Collaborate with content and design teams to create on-brand, visually compelling content

Maintain active community engagement through timely, authentic interaction

Stay updated with evolving platform algorithms, tools, and trends
About You

2-3 years of experience in a social media, digital marketing, or agency environment

Strong understanding of major platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and their audiences

Confident using analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.)

Skilled at turning data into actionable strategy

Creative thinker with a keen eye for trends and visual storytelling

Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative

Experience in agency or fast-paced environments is a strong advantage
