The Role: Customer Success Manager
This is a pivotal dual-role opportunity: part inbound sales closer, part team leader. You'll own the full inbound sales funnel from lead qualification to negotiation and closing, while inspiring and guiding a high-performing client services team across South Africa and the UK. You'll lead with empathy and commercial edge, ensuring every client interaction results in exceptional outcomes. As a key player in shaping how the customer function scales, you'll also contribute to process optimisation, strategy, and team design.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring 2+ years of closing experience in CS or Account Executive roles
- Own and convert inbound leads from first contact through to successful deal closure
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM hygiene for pipeline visibility
- Mentor, lead, and grow a performance-driven customer success team
- Set and track clear KPIs across client service operations
- Act as a client advocate internally, balancing experience with commercial goals
- Collaborate with marketing and underwriting teams to improve lead flow and client outcomes
- Help shape the future of inbound sales by introducing scalable systems, automation, and improved workflows
- Feed client insights into product development and go-to-market strategies
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a closing sales or customer success role
- Proven leadership experience managing a team
- Experience in the lending or financial services sector (highly advantageous)
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence
- Ambitious, resilient, and ready to lead from the front

- No formal qualifications required. Your results, attitude, and drive matter most
