Join a remote executive search team supporting international Investment Banking and Private Equity searches.
Remote (South Africa) | R35 000 – R37 000 plus commission | Working hours: 10am–7pm (4 days per week) and 11am–8pm (1 day per week)

Our client is an executive recruitment firm based in London specialising in Investment Banking and Private Equity. The firm was established in 2013 and the founding partners bring over 40 years of combined experience in the Executive Search industry. The business has worked with organisations including Barclays, Santander, Standard Chartered Bank, Rothschild, CVC and Bridgepoint, with clients primarily in London as well as across Europe and North America.
The Role: Associate Recruitment Consultant
The purpose of this role is to increase the pipeline of activity across both clients and candidates. The Associate Recruitment Consultant will support executive search delivery by sourcing and assessing candidates, maintaining accurate market intelligence, and identifying new client contacts. The role focuses on candidate engagement, research, database management, and lead generation to support ongoing search mandates and future business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Bring at least 18 months of recruitment experience while supporting candidate sourcing, engagement, and search delivery.

Respond to candidates approaching the business to understand their motivations and present their profiles to the consulting team.

Source relevant candidates for live mandates using the internal database and LinkedIn.

Interview interested candidates to assess their suitability for executive searches.

Write candidate overviews and shortlist packs for consulting teams.

Maintain and update the candidate database and market maps to ensure information is accurate and current.

Generate leads and business development opportunities through candidate conversations and networking.

Conduct internet research to identify new client contacts and draft outreach emails for potential business opportunities.
About You

At least 18 months of recruitment experience, ideally within UK and US markets.

Experience recruiting for Investment Banks and Private Equity Funds preferred, or recruitment experience within other Professional Services sectors such as Accounting and Finance, Legal, Insurance, or Strategy and Consulting.

Strong communication skills both in writing and over the phone.

Experience using recruitment databases and LinkedIn.

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
