The Role: Technical Leader - Gaming Platform Integrations
This role owns the technical direction and architecture of complex platform integrations within a cloud-native gaming environment. You'll remain hands-on while mentoring engineers, influencing system design, and ensuring high-quality, scalable software delivery across multiple teams and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of platform integrations across diverse gaming systems

• Define and enforce architectural best practices for APIs, microservices, and system interoperability

• Develop and maintain high-performance REST APIs using Node.js and Express

• Deploy, manage, and scale services on Azure using Kubernetes and related DevOps tooling

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into robust technical solutions

• Oversee delivery processes, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Resolve complex technical challenges and coach engineers through debugging and optimization

• Ensure systems are observable, secure, and resilient under heavy load

About You

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership capacity

• Proven expertise in Node.js, Express, RESTful API design, and system integration

• Strong experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases

• Solid understanding of microservices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and distributed architectures

• Excellent communication and leadership skills collaborative, pragmatic, and delivery-focused

• Nice to have: .NET/C#, event-driven systems, messaging tools (e.g., Service Bus), or experience in gaming/betting environments
