The Role: Technical Sales Manager
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales and business development across the Free State province. The Technical Sales Manager will lead and mentor the regional sales team, build strong client and distributor relationships, and develop strategies to expand market share while ensuring the successful delivery of sustainable bio-solutions to the agricultural community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the regional sales team

  • Drive business development by expanding the client base across the Free State

  • Manage existing accounts and personally handle key client relationships

  • Work closely with distributors to promote products and solutions

  • Develop and execute strategic proposals to grow market share and establish long-term partnerships

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure innovative and effective bio-solutions are implemented

  • Represent the company's vision of sustainability and build credibility in the agricultural sector

About You

  • Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, or a related field (preferred)

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical management within the agricultural or agri-inputs sector

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a sales team

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and create solutions for clients

  • Based in the Free State or with strong regional knowledge and networks

  • Willingness to collaborate across disciplines and contribute to the company's growth journey
