MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - Bellville, Cape Town - Salary: R50 000 to R60 000 per month

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12

• 5+ years relevant experience (steel manufacturing advantageous)

• Proven leadership in managing artisan teams

• Own reliable transport

Your Mission (Key Responsibilities):

• Ensure all equipment uptime, maintenance schedules, and performance KPIs are met

• Lead a high-performing maintenance team, set priorities, and solve technical challenges

• Drive process improvements and cost control measures

• Provide technical insight, analyze data, and generate innovative solutions

• Train and develop your team in safe, effective maintenance practices

You Bring:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting ability

• Advanced numeracy and data interpretation skills

• Bilingual (Afrikaans & English) with top-tier communication and people skills

• Strategic thinking with a knack for managing under pressure

Hours:

• 07:00 16:00, Monday to Friday

• Permanent Position | Reports to: Technical Director
