The Role: Reservations Support Manager
As the Reservations Support Manager, you will be based at Pezula Nature Retreat and play a key role in curating unforgettable guest journeys. You'll manage travel arrangements and bespoke itineraries, acting as a trusted liaison between the client and the experience. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role focused on crafting personalised, seamless, and inspiring travel encounters from first contact to farewell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and confirm guest travel arrangements and tailored itineraries

  • Research and recommend travel services, destination options, and experiences

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure service excellence

  • Prepare documentation and communicate relevant procedures and customs

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise pre-, during, or post-travel

  • Promote and sell travel packages that align with guest needs and expectations

  • Maintain booking records and updates using Opera and other systems

  • Assist with guest inquiries, changes, or special requests

  • Provide support during high-volume periods, including after-hours where necessary

About You

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential; tertiary qualifications in hospitality or tourism are advantageous

  • 2+ years of experience in travel planning, reservations, or trade/hospitality support

  • Proven proficiency in Opera (minimum 2 years' experience)

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and client service skills

  • Able to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain composure under pressure

  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Flexible availability during peak seasons and high-demand periods

  • Additional languages anda  diverse travel background are strong advantages
