      The Role: Business Development Manager
      This is a full-time, in-office position based in Foreshore, Cape Town. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and engaging UK-based SMEs, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and helping clients access tailored funding solutions. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong sales instincts and a passion for helping businesses grow.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Source and engage UK-based SMEs to assess their funding needs
      • Promote trade finance and business loan products tailored to client requirements
      • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to closing
      • Build and nurture lasting relationships with prospects and clients
      • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
      • Meet and exceed individual sales targets
      • Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates using CRM tools

      About You

      • 13 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in financial services or lending
      • Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
      • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
      • Resilient, self-motivated, and results-oriented
      • Comfortable with outbound calling and digital sales tools

      Nice to Have:

      • Experience in trade finance, invoice finance, or working with UK-based SMEs
      • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
      • Previous exposure to a UK client base
