    About Our Client

    Our client is a proudly South African, third-generation family-run business known for its commitment to quality and sustainability in the production of clay bricks and specialty masonry products. Based in the Western Cape, the company has a longstanding reputation among builders and developers and recently invested in a modern factory with expanded capacity and a lower environmental footprint. With a growth mindset and national expansion plans, they are now seeking a dedicated sales professional to grow their footprint in Gauteng.

    The Role: External Sales Representative

    This is a full-time, field-based sales position designed for a proactive, solutions-driven individual ready to grow our clients' market presence in Gauteng. Reporting remotely, you'll play a vital role in promoting products, building relationships with construction professionals, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, logistics, and product delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain relationships with site managers, developers, architects, and designers
    • Conduct regular site visits and provide product support and solutions
    • Promote products in retail stores, ensure adequate stock levels, and implement promotions
    • Manage sales administration, update CRM/ERP systems, and maintain territory records
    • Resolve on-site client issues and manage product deliveries with yard/logistics teams
    • Stay current on product lines and the broader construction industry
    • Drive new business while managing existing accounts in the Pretoria and Centurion region
    • Execute in-store and on-site promotions to grow brand visibility
    • Handle stock reconciliation and ensure a smooth sales-to-delivery workflow

    About You

    • 2+ years of sales experience in the construction or building materials industry
    • High school diploma required; tertiary certificate advantageous
    • Based in Pretoria or Centurion
    • Valid South African driver's license
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Energetic, self-driven, and capable of working independently
    • Comfortable multitasking between fieldwork, sales admin, and client service
    • Basic computer literacy and experience with ERP/CRM systems
    • Willingness to learn and grow through structured training
