The Role: Sales Executive Trade Marketing & Digital Outdoor Media
This role focuses on growing revenue across non-traditional digital platforms such as Africa Padel and Shell Forecourt networks. You will play a key role in driving digital OOH advertising sales, building strategic partnerships, and translating brand and trade marketing objectives into effective campaigns. The position suits a commercially minded, well-connected sales professional with strong agency and retail marketing experience.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, approach, and onboard new clients, focusing on trade marketing and retail brands.

Build and maintain strong relationships with brand, agency, and retail decision-makers.

Drive advertising sales across digital and outdoor media platforms.

Develop tailored proposals and compelling pitches aligned with client objectives.

Collaborate with creative and operations teams to ensure flawless campaign execution.

Monitor performance and provide actionable campaign insights.

Track market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
About You

3 - 5+ years of experience in media, advertising sales, or trade marketing (OOH or digital media preferred).

Background in or exposure to advertising agencies (brand management or client service advantageous).

Strong understanding of trade marketing, shopper behaviour, and retail dynamics.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Highly driven, proactive, and commercially astute.

Strong network within marketing, retail, and agency sectors.

Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving media environment.

Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar).
