The Role: Millwright
You will ensure the factory and infrastructure remain in optimal condition by performing maintenance, repairs, and installations. The role requires fault analysis, problem-solving, equipment upkeep, and collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to keep production reliable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct fault analysis and problem-solving across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Perform maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment, including preventative checks and documentation.

Manage technical areas such as workshop, service rooms, and company vehicles.

Support installations and construction projects (pipework, cabling, racks, stands, etc.).

Identify and manage spares; assist with ordering and supplier liaison.

Uphold Health & Safety and Food Safety standards (GMP, FSMS compliance).

Log jobs, prepare reports, and coordinate with Maintenance Manager and external suppliers.

Provide technical leadership, promote teamwork, and ensure knowledge sharing.

Be available for overtime, weekend work, and call-outs as required.
About You

Grade 12 plus minimum N3 in Millwright trade theory; trade tested.

At least 5 years post-trade test experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Strong knowledge of equipment drawings, fault finding, and testing fundamentals.

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools (welding, milling, lathe).

Experience in installation and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.

Solid understanding of Health & Safety and GMP principles.
