The Role: Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you'll play a crucial role in expanding the client base by converting target prospects into retained partners. You'll be working directly with the Founder and Head of Business Development to action a clearly defined strategy, leveraging tools, systems, and support to book meetings, identify opportunities, and build relationships with key Cybersecurity clients. This is a hands-on sales-focused role within a dynamic and growing agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years Business Development experience in recruitment or a related field
  • Identify, research, and target new business leads in the Cybersecurity recruitment space
  • Call and engage with target company decision-makers
  • Book 10+ new business meetings per month for the Founder
  • Secure agreements with at least 2 new clients monthly
  • Pull 4+ new job requisitions monthly (direct or through team efforts)
  • Input and manage 20+ qualified sales leads on CRM each month
  • Use sales tools and platforms to communicate and track engagement
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships aligned to long-term growth

About You

  • 2+ years business development experience in recruitment (ideally 180 or 360)
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and securing new business
  • Experience in the Cybersecurity or wider Tech recruitment market (non-negotiable)
  • Ability to clearly showcase performance metrics and KPIs from previous roles
  • Familiarity with UK and international recruitment markets
  • Confident communicator with excellent spoken English and a neutral accent
  • Driven, self-sufficient, and motivated to grow into a full sales lifecycle role
  • Comfortable working UK business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm GMT)
