The Role: Head of E-Commerce Marketing

As Head of E-Commerce Marketing, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of all digital marketing efforts, with full responsibility for performance across the e-commerce funnel. Working directly with the CEO and as part of the leadership team, you will define and deliver initiatives that drive customer acquisition, increase conversion, and boost retention. You'll own the marketing budget, lead a small cross-functional team, and champion data-led decision-making in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years experience in e-commerce/digital marketing with strong performance metrics
  • Develop and execute a cohesive, full-funnel e-commerce marketing strategy
  • Own the marketing budget and P&L to drive profitable growth
  • Lead SEO, PPC (Google, Meta, TikTok Ads), email (Klaviyo), and social media campaigns
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Maintain and optimise the WooCommerce website in partnership with the IT team
  • Deliver high-impact email marketing campaigns, automation, and segmentation strategies
  • Oversee performance reporting, KPI tracking, and ROI analysis (ROAS, CAC, CLV, etc.)
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain a properly consented user database
  • Collaborate with clinical and creative contributors to develop compelling marketing assets
  • Manage a growing team, including designers, content creators, and external agencies

About You

  • 5+ years of e-commerce/digital marketing experience, ideally in regulated sectors like wellness, health, or pharma
  • Proven track record of growing online sales and customer lifetime value
  • Native-level English communication skills, with fluency in UK spelling and tone
  • Expertise in WooCommerce, Klaviyo, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads
  • Strong command of SEO, conversion optimisation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Solid experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and marketing automation tools
  • Creative yet analytical, with strong project management and leadership skills
  • KPI-focused, commercially driven, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working remotely and leading distributed teams
