The Role: Business Development Executive (Appointment Setter)
This role exists to identify and convert new business opportunities for BPO services, with a core focus on cold outreach and appointment setting. You'll be responsible for prospecting across multiple industries, qualifying leads, and booking high-quality meetings for the UK-based sales team. You'll play a vital part in supporting revenue growth through relationship-building and high-activity sales engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of 3 years' experience selling BPO services, with consistent KPI and revenue achievement
- Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn
- Set qualified appointments with decision-makers in the UK and global markets
- Deliver tailored pitches and presentations aligned to each prospect's pain points
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads using CRM and prospecting tools
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth client handover process
- Monitor market trends and competitor movements to refine outreach strategies
- Accurately document all sales activity, progress, and KPIs in the CRM
About You
- 3+ years experience in outbound B2B sales within the BPO or RPO sector
- Demonstrated success in cold calling and setting qualified appointments
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and revenue targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with a confident, no-accent phone presence
- Skilled in negotiation, relationship-building, and objection handling
- Highly self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working independently
- Proficient in CRM platforms and prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Access to a reliable laptop and high-speed internet connection
- Available to work UK business hours (Monday - Friday)
