Position: Automation Quality Assurance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Conduct both automated and manual testing across web, mobile, and backend platforms to ensure software quality.
  • Integrate and manage test suites within continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues early in the software development lifecycle.
  • Create, update, and maintain test plans, test cases, and related documentation to support test coverage and traceability.
  • Ensure a high level of test coverage and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of testing frameworks.
  • Support performance, load, and security testing efforts as needed.
  • Actively participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance automation.
  • Proficient in using automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Solid programming/scripting experience in one or more languages, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices.
  • Experience with mobile testing and a good understanding of platform-specific guidelines for Android and iOS.
  • Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or automation frameworks.
  • Experience using debugging and logging tools for mobile and web applications (e.g., Charles Proxy, Android Studio, Xcode, Logcat).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to mobile app deployment processes and tools (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, Firebase Distribution) is a plus.
