Opportunity: Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Music Content Operations Research Analyst to support a 12-month placement within their organization.
Summary:
Research Analyst with 1+ years of experience in market research, with music industry background, with an eye on operational, system and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
· Manage day to day ongoing research initiatives with client's North American music publishing partners
· Develop workflows for monitoring publishing data and provide scalable solutions for issue identification and resolution
· Utilize visual reports to track publisher metrics and trends
· Communication with partners with regard to data delivery and data validation, including general documentation
· Develop an understanding on client's music rights management products and how they are being used across constituent groups
- Support global publishing ops team on cases management, task tracking, ingestion failures, and go dark research support
Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience in market research, music account management, product management, online operations, consulting, or data analytics.
-Knowledge of copyright and music licensing and sensitivities around IP policy, excellent communication skills with ability to work cross functionally, music industry research background preferable with label, music publisher, or DSP.
