Salary Range: $65,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build new dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain existing tooling and dies to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate a variety of machine tools, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDMs.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to produce precision components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling performance and part quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for design and programming
• Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments (e.g., CMM, optical comparators) for quality control and inspection
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex tooling, dies, and fixtures
• Experience with heat treatment processes and material science related to tool and die making
• Certification or specialized training in advanced machining techniques (e.g., EDM, CNC multi-axis machining)
