Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Warehouse Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
• Manage and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement to ensure timely material availability and minimize stockouts.
• Implement and maintain a robust inventory management system, conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
• Optimize space utilization and layout of the warehouse to improve workflow and storage capacity.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate favorable terms for transportation and warehousing services.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, safety protocols, and operational efficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
• Project management experience, especially with WMS implementations
• OSHA 30-hour certification
