Salary Range: $61,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allendale that are seeking Tool Room Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train tool room personnel on safety, quality, and production processes.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling and equipment.
• Oversee the inventory of tools, spare parts, and raw materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for tooling to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards within the tool room.
• Coordinate with production and engineering departments to support new product development and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling issues to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tool room environment.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of technicians.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and metrology.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting manual and CNC machinery.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs for tool room equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture design and modification.
• Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or other relevant quality management certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of skill enhancement.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
