Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, gauges, and fixtures.
- Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
- Perform precision measurements using a variety of inspection equipment to ensure conformity to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool performance and manufacturing processes.
- Select appropriate materials and heat treatments for tools based on application requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of various machining processes, including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM
- Expertise in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations related to tool design and fabrication
