Field Service Technician | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with organizations in the Delta Township area that seek Field Service Technicians. Usual Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrate equipment to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document service visits, parts used, and repairs in service reports.
• Train customer staff on safe operation and basic upkeep of equipment.
• Coordinate parts orders and follow-up visits with the home office.
• Follow lockout/tagout and other site safety rules during all work.
• Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Two or more years servicing industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver license and willingness to travel frequently.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and coworkers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, or industrial controls.
• Welding, machining, or fabrication skills.
• Prior experience in a field service or on-call role.
• Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging certification.
