Salary Range: $77,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes.
• Lead internal and external IATF 16949 audits, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality non-conformances using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate APQP activities, including FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions.
• Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, identifying trends and recommending proactive measures to improve product and process quality.
• Provide training and mentorship on IATF 16949 standards and quality tools to manufacturing personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in IATF 16949 standards and their practical application.
• Strong knowledge of core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 is highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered quality tools or predictive analytics in manufacturing.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly German, Japanese, or Korean.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
