Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies to support manufacturing operations.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components, minimizing stockouts.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and material costs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all purchased materials and services meet required quality standards and specifications for manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the purchasing process, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship development.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain logistics
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
