Salary Range: $45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and initiate appropriate corrective action requests.
• Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective action implementation.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and tools according to established schedules.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate product evaluation.
• Support the maintenance of quality management system documentation and records.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance role.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gages) and reading engineering blueprints.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
• Experience programming CMMs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso)
• Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001 or industry-specific standards
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing engineering designs
