Salary Range: $68,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, specifications, and procedures throughout production.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
• Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and proper use of quality inspection equipment.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a quality inspection or technician team.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in data analysis, metrology, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• ASQ Certification (e.g., CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE).
• Experience with specific QMS software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Internal or external auditor experience for ISO 9001 or relevant industry standards.
