Salary Range: $96,000 - $143,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Supply Chain Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and services, including supplier selection and negotiation.
• Manage inventory levels across the supply chain to minimize holding costs while ensuring production continuity and customer fulfillment.
• Lead demand forecasting, production planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Coordinate logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance, reduce lead times, and mitigate risks.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory, procurement, and logistics.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, O9 Solutions).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain analytics.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience managing international logistics and global supplier networks.
