Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, Stick) on various metals according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and adherence to design specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding.
- Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on welded products.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-cored)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial welding environment
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX)
- Ability to inspect finished welds for quality and adherence to specifications
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with specialized materials such as stainless steel or aluminum.
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Demonstrated fabrication and fitting skills.
- Ability to operate related manufacturing equipment (e.g., forklift, overhead crane, plasma cutter).
- Completion of a formal welding apprenticeship or trade school program.
