Salary Range: $50,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices and scheduling payments for raw materials and operational expenses.
• Handle accounts receivable, generating customer invoices for finished goods and services, and monitoring collections.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations for all company accounts.
• Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with payroll processing, including timecard verification and expense reimbursements.
• Generate basic financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Track and reconcile inventory movements and costs, specifically for raw materials and finished goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and experience with ERP systems
• Solid understanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional certification

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., COGS, WIP, overhead allocation).
• Familiarity with inventory management and valuation methods specific to manufacturing environments.
• Experience tracking and depreciating fixed assets, particularly machinery and equipment.
