Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement industrial automation systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
• Program and configure industrial robots, vision systems, and motion control devices for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with automated equipment and control systems.
• Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation hardware and software.
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the integration and commissioning of new automated machinery.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel on automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and debugging PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB), motion control, and vision systems.
• Solid understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, motor controls, and process instrumentation.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize complex automation equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) or vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
• Proficiency in SQL databases and data historian platforms (e.g., OSIsoft PI, AspenTech InfoPlus.21).
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.
