Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CMM inspection programs for complex components using various software platforms.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to define precise measurement requirements.
• Generate accurate and comprehensive CMM inspection reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineers to optimize measurement strategies and resolve non-conformances.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting on CMM equipment.
• Analyze CMM data to identify trends, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and technical support to CMM operators on program execution and data interpretation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T principles.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
• Hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CMM equipment.
• Knowledge of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes and materials.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners, optical comparators)
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo)
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis
• Experience with CMM fixture design or modification
