Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for manufacturing and administrative roles.
  • Develops and implements HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Oversees employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and grievance management on the shop floor.
  • Administers compensation, benefits, and performance management programs for the manufacturing workforce.
  • Identifies training needs and coordinates development initiatives, with a strong focus on safety and technical skills.
  • Partners with plant leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and promotes a proactive safety culture.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in HR management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle talent acquisition for production and skilled trades roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices relevant to industrial settings.
  • Demonstrated success in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive plant culture.
  • Experience partnering with plant leadership on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing workforces.
  • Certification in a specialized HR area (e.g., compensation, safety management, workers' compensation) relevant to industrial environments.
  • Prior experience with HRIS implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in a unionized environment or with union avoidance strategies.
