Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses according to specifications and work orders.
• Operate various presses to produce parts, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor press operations and inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to quality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on press equipment and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Load raw materials into presses and unload finished or semi-finished products, maintaining an organized workspace.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, machine guarding requirements, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating industrial presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot press machinery.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance and minor repairs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance or minor machine repair.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools beyond basic checks (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory tracking, or HMI operation.
