Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses.
• Verify and import timecard data from manufacturing timekeeping systems, ensuring compliance with company policy and labor laws.
• Manage all payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, 401k, and garnishments, ensuring proper setup and remittance.
• Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes within the payroll system, maintaining data integrity.
• Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and prepare relevant payroll reports for finance and management.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with major payroll software (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paylocity) and integrated timekeeping systems.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state wage & hour laws, payroll taxes, and compliance regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately process high-volume, complex payroll, including hourly and shift-based employees.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail for reconciliation and error resolution.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for unionized workforces.
• Proficiency with complex time and attendance systems (e.g., UKG/Kronos, ADP Workforce Now Time).
• Multi-state payroll processing experience.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
