Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and products.
- Verify materials against purchase orders, blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
- Accurately document inspection results, including acceptance, rejection, and non-conformances.
- Identify, segregate, and tag non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and collaborate on root cause analysis.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, purchasing, and production regarding material quality issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality control principles, sampling plans (e.g., AQL), and non-conformance processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for quality data entry.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Certification in advanced GD&T or CMM operation/programming.
- Prior experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
