Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
  • Balance production capacity with sales forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Monitor production progress, identify deviations, and adjust schedules as needed to mitigate delays.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure schedule adherence and material availability.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material shortages.
  • Analyze production performance and scheduling data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate schedule status, changes, and potential impacts to all relevant stakeholders.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX/365).
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing complex production schedules.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP system configuration and optimization
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) simulation software
