Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Request for Quotations (RFQs), blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Calculate material, labor, tooling, and overhead costs for custom manufacturing projects.
• Develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies based on cost analysis and market conditions.
• Prepare and present detailed, professional quotes and proposals to customers within deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure quote accuracy and feasibility.
• Maintain accurate records of all quotes, pricing data, and customer communications.
• Review and update quotes based on design changes, material fluctuations, or production adjustments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), labor, and overhead.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for quoting and data management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and basic CAD models.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and margin analysis.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
• Experience with advanced quoting software or CRM systems beyond basic ERP.
