Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain precision measuring instruments and equipment.
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Solid understanding of quality control methodologies and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for identifying defects and non-conformances.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results, create reports, and maintain quality records.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a quality assurance or inspection role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and software.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or other automated inspection equipment.
• Internal auditing experience for ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Basic CAD software proficiency for reviewing part models.
