Key Responsibilities

• Perform press setup, including tooling installation, die changes, and machine adjustments.
• Operate manufacturing presses to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality checks and visual inspections of finished products for defects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Record production data, including quantities, run times, and any downtime or issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating and setting up various manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, punch).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders accurately.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, performing minor adjustments, and routine maintenance on press machinery.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
• Basic preventative maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Experience training or mentoring junior operators
