Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final product inspections according to control plans and work instructions.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address and resolve quality deviations and improve processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001).

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T knowledge preferred).
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills for identifying product defects and non-conformities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced GD&T interpretation and application skills
• Experience with CMM programming
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) software
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Technician (CQT) certification
