Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and support.
• Manage inventory levels for incoming and outgoing goods, performing regular cycle counts.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies, resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all shipments and receipts.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Implement and improve shipping and receiving processes to enhance productivity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Basic understanding of inventory management software beyond a basic ERP system.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation.
• Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members.
