Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise, train, and schedule shipping and receiving personnel.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with order specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure timely material flow.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of shipping regulations, documentation, and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Proficiency in using advanced inventory management software beyond basic ERP functions.
• - Certification in forklift operation or a related material handling equipment.
• - Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior team members in shipping and receiving best practices.
