Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Monitor equipment performance, schedule maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Maintain quality control standards, inspecting products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all shop activities.
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address production issues effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with employees, management, and other departments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production schedules.
