Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and support on complex machining operations.
- Operate, set up, and program advanced CNC machinery and conventional machine tools to produce high-precision components.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machining issues, perform routine machine maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
- Identify and implement improvements to machining processes, tooling, and fixturing to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Coordinate daily machining schedules and workflow to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality control procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Machinist, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Expert proficiency in operating, setting up, and troubleshooting various CNC and manual machining equipment (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders).
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in training, mentoring, and effectively delegating tasks to a team of machinists.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (e.g., G-code, CAM software) and process optimization for efficiency and quality.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with advanced CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360).
- Experience with preventative maintenance and minor machine troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Basic CAD skills for fixture design or print review.
