Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization, inventory, and maintenance of all tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Manage and supervise tool room personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure timely and accurate repair, fabrication, and modification of tooling to support production needs.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices within the tool room.
• Maintain accurate records of tool movements, repairs, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify tooling requirements and solutions.
• Monitor tool room budget and control expenses for materials, equipment, and labor.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all tooling.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of tool design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair processes.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Proficiency in inventory management, procurement, and cost control for tool room supplies.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures relevant to tool manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC machining principles.

• - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
