Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical, virtual, storage) ensuring high availability for manufacturing operations.
• Administer and secure network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls) supporting shop floor connectivity.
• Provide advanced technical support for critical manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, HMI, ERP) and end-users.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing data and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity testing.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor system performance, apply patches/updates, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system health and uptime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, MES, or other plant floor technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices, particularly in an OT/IT converged environment.
• Ability to provide on-call support and rapidly resolve critical system issues in a production environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and the IT systems that support them (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLM).
• Experience with IoT devices or Industry 4.0 initiatives in a production setting.
