Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment according to specifications.
- Inspect and test welds for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Set up and maintain welding equipment, including torches, power sources, and safety devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components.
- Troubleshoot welding process issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document welding procedures, test results, and material certifications as required.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in welding technology or related field preferred.
- Certified welder (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3) with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a certified welder in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Experience with welding inspection techniques and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and equipment.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Certified welding inspector (CWI) designation
- - Experience with robotic welding systems
- - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
- - Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and weld symbols
