Salary Range: $43,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations according to blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc, MIG, and TIG welders.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper tool maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fabricate and assemble metal components using various welding techniques.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining welding equipment and associated tools.
• Understanding of metallurgy and welding techniques for different materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control and safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Proficiency in advanced welding techniques like TIG or MIG.
• - Experience with robotic welding systems.
• - Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
