Salary Range: $80,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on findings.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs and control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Manage incoming material inspection processes and disposition non-conforming materials.
• Facilitate supplier development programs to improve their quality capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management and auditing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration.
• Experience with quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, PPAP, and CAPA.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and methodologies.
• - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement tools.
• - Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing part drawings and specifications.
• - ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.
• - Experience with supplier development and auditing in a global manufacturing environment.
