Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex Six Sigma projects from initiation to closure, utilizing DMAIC or DMADV methodologies.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and team members on Six Sigma principles, tools, and techniques.
• Identify and analyze process improvement opportunities to reduce waste, defects, and variation.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to gather data, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
• Implement and sustain process improvements, ensuring long-term effectiveness and impact.
• Develop and present project status updates, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the manufacturing environment.
• Utilize statistical software and analytical tools to perform data analysis and validate solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully leading and completing complex Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment, resulting in measurable improvements in quality, cost, and efficiency.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, including Lean principles, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and project management tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software beyond basic Minitab.
• - Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a Lean Six Sigma environment.
• - Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies like Industry 4.0 or IIoT.
• - Certification in a complementary discipline such as APICS or PMP.
• - Demonstrated ability to mentor and train Green Belts and Yellow Belts.
